Wanda Brubaker, LVT
Wanda has been with Monticello Animal Hospital since May of 2001. She feels the biggest reward as a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) is providing quality patient nursing care to hospitalized patients. Her other veterinary interests include dentistry and wellness care. She lives in Staunton and spends her free time traveling, relaxing at home, and spending quality time with family and friends, and spoiling her Golden Retriever, Harley, Mixed Breed, Roxi, and cats, Biscuit and Beanie.
Jessica Lacomis, LVT
Jessica joined our staff in the Fall of 2008. She is originally from Pennsylvania and is here with her husband, Jeremy, cats Layla, Linus, Ryan and Kevin, as well as her degu named Fiona. Jessica enjoys wellness care and helping our patients recover from illnesses. Outside of work, she is busy spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching movies, and going out on another road trip.
Brooke Leatherbury, LVT
Brooke has been with us since May of 2012 after completing the veterinary technology program at Blue Ridge Community College. Brooke graduated from Mary Baldwin College in 2010 with a primary Degree in Biology and a minor in Studio Art. Brooke enjoys interacting with clients and patients. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and being outdoors. Horses have always been a major focus in Brooke's life. Her managerie includes chickens, a shepherd mix, a rottweiler mix, and a cat to spend her time with at home.
Brittany Young, LVT
Position: Licensed Veterinary Technician
Brittany is originally from Newark, DE and is in Charlottesville with her three cats, Mistletoe, Dot, and Alfredo. She has a bachelor degree in animal science from the University of Delaware. Her veterinary interests include behavioral medicine and surgery. During her free time, Brittany enjoys playing roller derby on the local Charlottesville team, reading, spending time with her friends, watching movies, and spoiling her pets.
